Eisfunke’s Yard Sale
From time to time I have stuff lying around that I don’t use anymore. I don’t like the vibe of the various classifieds platforms, so I thought I might try offering some of it more privately here.
If you have use for some of the stuff here, know someone who does, or have questions, contact me so we can arrange something!
Delivery
Best case: you live in the Dortmund area in Germany and can pick the thing up. I live in the southwest of Dortmund in walking distance of bus, subway and train stops.
I’m also at TU Dortmund University and in Solingen and Mainz regularly, and sometimes at Chaos events. We might be able to arrange something there as well.
I can also send stuff to you inside the EU via Deutsche Post or DHL, if you pay the postage.
Pricing
Most important to me is that the stuff goes to someone who has a use for it – not getting the best possible price. I use a Pay What You Want (PWYW) model: listings give a price range (e.g. PWYW10 – 40 €), you can choose a price inside this range yourself.
The upper limit is generally an estimate of the “market value”. If you think the estimate is fair and can afford it without problems, I suggest you choose a price roughly in this upper range.1 If you need the money for other stuff, just pick any price you’re comfortable with inside the range.

Nicolas: I won’t ask any questions about your price choice or judge you in any way. I trust that you choose a price that fits your situation!

You can also take a look at my Kleinanzeigen profile. Sometimes I do put stuff on there instead.
Krups Ice Cream Maker

A simple ice cream maker I used a few times a few years ago. These days I have a Ninja Creami, so I don’t need it anymore.
- brand: Krups
- model: it’s a few years old and doesn’t have a model name printed on it, but it looks identical to the current model GVS241 / Perfect Mix 9000
- this model doesn’t have a refrigeration unit
- instead the tub is an ice pack, you put it into the freezer for a day to store the coldness
- comes with an electric stirring unit and a plastic scraper
- good for a cheap start into making your own ice cream
- but be aware that you need enough freezer space and it’s less convenient and reliable than more expensive ice cream makers with a refrigeration unit
- some scratches on the inside, otherwise good condition
PWYW15 – 30 €
Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 460

My old laptop. Not in the best condition, to be perfectly honest. Still works if plugged in, though.
- CPU: Intel i7-6600U, 2 Cores
- RAM: 8GB
- storage: 256GB SSD
- display: 14” 16:9, 1920x1080, touchscreen, usable with included digitizer pen
- German keyboard
- power adapter included
- battery broken: only works plugged-in (I didn’t replace it because I was planning to get a new laptop at that point anyway)
- left hinge broken: can’t be folded into tablet mode (I never bothered to replace it as I never ended up using tablet mode anyway)
- display has some bright spots around the middle
- display has some scratches from contact with the keyboard
- bought 2016 as refurbished / lightly-used sample piece
PWYW10 – 50 €
Double-Walled Metal Bottle

- brand: “Aorin” (it’s a random Amazon brand)
- color: yellow/orange
- capacity: 750 ml
- a few years old
- a few small scratches, a dent in the cap
PWYW2 – 8 €
Cheese Cutter

A wire cheese cutter. Never used it a lot, I tend to eat harder cheeses that are too hard to cut with this or don’t fit well on the board.
- brand: “ZMPWLQ” (random Amazon brand that has gone too far with its name)
- comes with a few replacement wires
PWYW5 – 10 €
Things I’m Looking For
There are also some things I’m looking for myself. If you happen to have something from this list lying around unused, I might be interested in taking it off your hand (depending on the condition and price, of course)!
- various fountain pens (modern or antique), inks, calligraphy equipment
- compact network switch with ~5 ports
- backpack Deuter Futura 23
- keyboard ZSA Moonlander (black)
- old Nokia mobile phone with GSM support, e.g. 3410 or 6310i
- lens Sony SEL-1670Z
- lens Sony SEL-1018
- small manual coffee grinder with metal burrs, maximum diameter ~5cm so it fits into an AeroPress
